4 early pieces of Nashville coin silver. 2 teaspoons with oval handles, (monogrammed MES) marked P. NEGRIN in rectangle, plus 1 teaspoon with coffin handle (monogrammed EB), and 1 salt spoon (monogrammed Claiborne) both marked P NEGRIN in serrated rectangles (Paul Negrin, working Nashville, Tennessee 1823-1844). Salt spoon and its mark are pictured in Tennessee Silversmiths by Benjamin H. Caldwell, fig. 102C. Salt spoon 4" L, teaspoons 5 1/2" L. 1.61 oz troy combined weight. CONDITION: Teaspoons with oval handles have some wear and denting to bowls, other pieces very good condition.
