Japanese or Chinese, late 19th to early 20th century. 2nd item: Pair large carved soapstone foo lion or dragon seals, each modeled with a smaller lion atop its head and another at its feet, standing atop a plinth with incised bird and flower decoration. 5" H. Provenance: estate of James R. (and Mary B.) Packard, Huntsville, Alabama.
