Mid-Atlantic, possibly Baltimore, profusely cobalt decorated stoneware pitcher. Ovoid form with rounded rim, incised lines around the neck, ribbed pulled handled and rounded foot. Cobalt decorated with multiple swags below the rim and elaborate floral and leaf decoration to the body, glazed interior. Unmarked. 10 1/2" H. Mid-19th century.
PROVENANCE: The estates of Maurice and Barbara Magill, Silver City, NM and Thomasville, GA.
CONDITION: Overall excellent condition with an old glaze chip to the base.
