Louis Edward Jones (American, 1878-1958) oil on board painting titled "In a Sunny Cove In The Smokies" depicting a mountain scene with a cabin nestled in the center having smoke rising from its chimney above the tree tops, surrounded by late autumn foliage against a backdrop of two large blue mountains under a light blue sky. Singed and dated "L.E. Jones 1954" lower left. Titled and additionally signed and dated, en verso. Housed in a contemporary giltwood frame. Sight: 7 1/4" H x 9 1/4" W. Framed: 13 1/2" H x 15 1/4" W.
CONDITION: Both the painting and frame are in very good condition.
