Louis Edward Jones (American, 1878-1958) oil on board painting titled "A Winter Day In The Smokies" depicting a mountain scene with a small cabin nestled amidst a valley with smoke rising from its chimney, surrounded by evergreen trees and late autumn foliage under a cloudy blue sky. Singed and dated "L.E. Jones 1954" lower right. Titled and additionally signed and dated, en verso of board. Sight: 7 1/2" H x 9 1/4" W. Framed: 13 1/2" H x 15 1/2" W.
CONDITION: Both painting and frame in very good condition.
