1st item: Coin silver goblet having rope twist design stem, repeating at rim and footring, with acanthus decoration at base and engraved leaf design to the bowl. Monogrammed in cartouche, "H C Y from his Mother" (likely Henry Clay Yeatman). Unmarked. 5 5/8" H x 3" W. 4.45 oz troy. Mid 19th century. 2nd item: Bailey & Company Coin Silver Presentation Cup with Intertwined Snake Handles. Diamond chevron pattern on surface of cup divided by bead trim and on base, leading up to flared rim with egg and dart pattern. Monogrammed "M. P. Y. Sept. 2nd. 1860." for Mary Polk Yeatman to cartouche on body of cup. Stamped "BAILEY & CO. CHESTNUT STREET PHILA." with other marks on bottom. 6 1/4" H x 6" W. 11.30 oz troy. Mid 19th century. 15.75 total troy ounces. Provenance: The estate of Jean A. Yeatman and Harry C. Yeatman, formerly of Hamilton Place Plantation (near Columbia, Tennessee). CONDITION: 1st item: Some bending to footring, stem slightly tilted. 2nd item: Some denting to upper body below rim. Some bending to footring.
