Blanchard in rectangle with single eagle mark (Asa Blanchard, working Lexington, KY 1808-1838). 11 7/8"L, 3.4 oz troy. Ref. Marquis Boultinghouse, Silversmiths of Kentucky, 1785-1900, pp. 69-77, mark illustrated p. 299, fig. 29D. Deaccessioned from the Headley – Whitney Museum, Lexington, KY. Provenance – Lexington, Kentucky area collection. Condition: 1 small dent to bowl, overall very good to excellent condition.
