Grouping of two (2) Himer Fox (Chatham County, NC, 1826-1909) salt glazed stoneware jars, both with flat rim and stamped "H. Fox". The larger storage jar is a one-gallon capacity and stamped "6" ( 10 3/4" H) and the smaller jar is stamped "2" ( 7 1/4" H) denoting capacity. Condition: Both with chipping to the rim. Smaller jar has chip to base that appears to be in the making.
