Middle Tennessee miniature cherry sugar chest, poplar secondary. Sheraton form comprised of a hinged lift top opening to reveal a divided interior, exposed dovetailed case over one dovetailed drawer and turned feet. 21 1/8″ H x 20 1/4″ W x 14 1/2″ D. Circa 1845. Provenance: Private Southeast Tennessee collection. CONDITION: Older refinish with extensive wear to top, rear splice to top at hinges, patched holes to upper central front case, possibly from old hardware.
