Wheeler Williams (American, 1897-1972) green painted plaster sculpture depicting a male head, possibly Egyptian. Signed and dated along the front left edge “1949 Wheeler Williams”. 16 in. H x 14 1/2 in. W x 14 1/2 in. D. 20th century. Together with a small book titled “Wheeler Williams” from the American Sculptors Series.

PROVENANCE: The estate of Robert Estrin, Nashville, TN.

CONDITION: Some minor scattered abrasions to the surface sculpture. Minor scattered chipping and losses to the back.
