English Adams style painted satinwood cabinet or diminutive sideboard, the center section having a serpentine form with single top drawer with brass escutcheons over a two-door cabinet with landscape vignettes with classical female figures flanked on each side by a concave panel with vignette of vases with bouquets. This cabinet is decorated with classical medallions, birds, and draped garlands and is supported on tapered legs with spade feet. 38" H x 48" W x 28" D. Second half of the 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with its original finish and aged patina. Some areas of wood shrinkage.
