Art Deco Lamp attr. Faries Manufacturing Company and After Maude Sherwood Jewett Bronze Sculpture, 2 items total. 1st item: Art Deco Desk Lamp attr. Faries Manufacturing Company (founded Decatur, Illinois, 1894, possibly model 2337) with half-cylinder style brass shade mounted with three chrome half-rings, supported by a U shaped chrome frame with stag and ball finial, atop a diamond shaped copper tone metal base. Impressed mark A 7 underside of base. 10 3/4" H x 12" W x 5 1/2" D. Circa 1940. 2nd item: After Maude Sherwood Jewett (American, 1873-1953) bronze sculpture of a seated nude woman, playing a pan flute. Unsigned. Mounted atop a green marble base. 5 1/2" H x 5 1/2" W x 4 1/4" D (including base). First half 20th century. CONDITION: 1st item: Lamp has been rewired, but wiring and functionality are not guaranteed. Some minor oxidation and surface wear, overall good condition. 2nd item: Base has an unfilled hole; it may be reset or may not be original to the sculpture.
