C scroll handle with overlaid acanthus leaf decoration. Marked on side of foot Garner & Winchester Lex. Ky (Eli Garner and Daniel Frank Winchester, working Lexington 1842-1862. Ref. Marquis Boultinghouse, Silversmiths of Kentucky, 1785-1900, pp. 130-132.) 12 1/2"H, 35.11 oz troy. Circa 1855. Provenance – Lexington, Kentucky area collection. Condition: Deep, 3/4" dent to belly side (near handle terminus), shallow 1/2" dent to front belly under spout, scattered minor tiny dents and scratches, overall good condition.
