Kentucky Coin Silver Julep Cup with molded rim and wreath cartouche, enclosing engraved inscription "Stephens Brindley Bishop". 2 rectangular marks on underside have been obscured by scratching but are attributed to Joseph Lawrence Stephens (Paris, Kentucky c. 1810-1827). 3 1/2" H, 5.61 oz troy. Provenance – Lexington, Kentucky area collection, ex-Clifton Anderson Antiques. CONDITION: Marks illegible, a few tiny scattered dents, overall good condition.
