Group of three (3) Pennsylvania-German Frakturs, 2 period. 1st item: Pennsylvania German ink and watercolor on paper birth announcement, dated 1810, with tulip and floral border in red, gold and blue. Housed in a plain black frame. American, early 19th century. Sheet – 7 3/4" H x 13" W. Framed – 11 1/2" H x 14 1/2" W. 2nd item: Pennsylvania German 1771 watercolor, ink and graphite on paper birth and baptism fraktur decorated with central floral urn and tall column to each side. Sheet – 8" H x 12 1/2" W. Framed – 9" H x 14" W. American, late 18th century. 3rd item: Small watercolor on paper fraktur of pair of standing lions and pair parrots flanking a poinsettia plant with initials at base. Housed in a gilt wood frame. Sight – 6 1/4" H x 9 1/4" W. Framed – 8 1/4" x 11 1/4". 18th century style, but probably 20th century. Provenance: Private Sevier County, TN collection. CONDITION: 1st item: Scattered paper creases and stains. Minor loss to paint. 2nd item: Overall toning to paper and scattered paper creases. Dark stain upper left and right corners. Some wear to image. 3rd item: General toning to paper with stain at upper left corner and near center base. Wear to frame.
