Wood and Hughes (New York, 1845-1899) Aesthetic movement 900 silver compote having Lion's mask, scroll and acanthus leaf applied rim decoration with hinged oval ring handles, all on a turned base with engraved and beaded decoration. Underside of base marked "W & H 900/1000". 7 3/4" H x 13 1/2" diameter. 33.935 total troy ounces. CONDITION: Overall very good condition with minor surface scratches.
