East Tennessee cherry corner cupboard with light wood inlay, yellow pine secondary. One piece cupboard features an ogee cornice having applied dentil molding with decorative vine and leaf inlay above and around the sixteen (16) pane doors. Inlay across medial panel intersecting as an oval at the center. Lower paneled doors with additional quarter corner string inlay and a shaped skirt with tapered feet. Top section with older blue painted interior. 88_ H x 46 3/8_ W x 33 1/2_ D. Provenance Ð Oral history Family originally from Greene County. Circa 1820. Condition: Old surface. Overall very good condition with missing return left side, piece of lower right foot facing missing (approx. 2"), a couple of glass panes missing, rear foot with loss.
