East Tennessee cherry one drawer huntboard table on tall turned legs, scratch beaded dovetailed drawer, post and panel sides and back. Poplar and yellow pine secondary. 41 5/8" H x 28 1/8" W x 18 3/8" D. Possibly Roane Co. Second quarter of the 19th century. Provenance: Descended in the family of James Madison Hartley (b. 1850-d. 1920; mayor of Kingston, TN, early 1900s; State Rep. 1907-1909). Condition: Older finish with some wear to drawer sides.
