Large Southern alkaline glazed stoneware jug with amber/olive drips, extruded handle with clay wedge, incised lines around upper shoulder, script letters around upper midsection with other incised marks. 15 5/8" height. Third quarter of the 19th century. Northern GA estate. CONDITION: Overall very good condition with light chip to ring on lower rim, old chip to underside of base.
