F. B. Norton & Co. 4 gallon stoneware butter churn, decorated with cobalt slip design of a bird or parrot on leaf, cylindrical form with applied lug handles and incised lines around the neck. Stamped "F. B. NORTON & CO / WORCESTER. MASS" and "4" denoting capacity. 16 1/2" H. Circa 1870. Estate of J.D. and Jane Vandercook, Hendersonville, TN. CONDITION: Overall very good condition.
