Blousy Angel Artist Fraktur, (Pennsylvania, active 1780-1811) baptismal certificate of Maria Barbara, daughter of Michel and Maria Barbarine Seborne, born 10 June 1805, in Lowhill Township, North Hampton County, (now Lehigh County) Pennsylvania, watercolor and ink on laid paper. Swan at top of wreath and heart at base. Sight: 12 5/8" x 15 5/8". Stained oak beveled frame: 14 1/2" x 17 1/2". Provenance: Acquired in Williamsport, PA 35 years ago by present owner. Pennsylvania, late 18th/early 19th century. Provenance: Private Sevier County, TN collection. CONDITION: Center vertical crease line. 2 1/4" L tear at lower left margin with 3/4" Loss. 4" L tear upper right margin. Smaller creases, losses, folds and tears mostly near perimeter of paper. Some surface grime and light foxing.
