Large Black Forest style carved statue depicting a young boy dressed in hunting attire holding a torch in one hand and a rabbit in the other with fox strapped to his back. Statue rests on an Eastlake style carved wood pedestal stand with door and interior storage. Statue measures – 58" H x 15 1/2" W x 15 1/2" D. Stand measures – 39" H x 21" W x 21" D. 97" H overall. Continental, possibly Bavarian or Italian. Late 19th century. Condition: Some minor scattered scratches and wear. Overall very good condition. Condition: Some minor scattered scratches and wear.
