Five (5) Chinese snuff bottles, including one (1) jade round form with a silver stopper fitted with semi-translucent stone, stamped with character mark to stopper; one (1) Chinese Famille Verte porcelain footed round form having flowering branch vignette to each side, surrounded by foliate forms fitted with a green hardstone stopper; two (2) reverse glass painted round form bottles, 1 with numerous birds and a flowering branch beside a body of water upon a yellow ground fitted with a red hardstone stopper and 1 with flowering branch of peonies and character inscriptions upon a white ground fitted with a brown hardstone stopper; and one (1) blue and white porcelain cylindrical form with figural battle scene fitted with a red hardstone stopper. Ranging in size from 2 5/8" H x 1 3/8" dia. to 3 3/4" H x 3 1/4" W x 1 5/8" D. Chinese, 19th and 20th century. Note: Stopper of jade bottle tests sterling.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Raymond White, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All items in overall good condition with scattered minor surface wear. Famille Verte porcelain bottle with scattered minor fleabites.
