Coin silver fish knife or crumber in velvet and silk lined presentation case. Threaded handle; blade decorated with engraved foliate scroll designs on an engine turned background. Incuse marks Coin and F.H. Clark & Co. (Frederick Harvey Clark, working Memphis circa 1850-d. 1866 as F.H. Clark & Co.). Monogram JOL to EBL. 12-3/4"L, 5.34 oz troy. Provenance: the collection of John Montague, Memphis, Tenn. Condition: Silver utensil is in excellent condition. Box has significant exterior wear, and some light staining and losses to silk interior.
