Two (2) Pennsylvania cobalt decorated salt-glazed stoneware jars. 1st item: Stenciled JAS. HAMILTON & CO. GREENSBORO. PA surrounding a central stylized floral decoration with additional freehand line decorations to neck and base. 2nd item: Vertically stenciled JAS. HAMILTON & CO. GREENSBORO. PA surrounding a leaf decoration. Ranging in size from 8 3/8" H x 5 1/8" dia. to 8 3/8" H x 5 5/8" dia. Pennsylvania, 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Donley and Eunice Hill, Andersonville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Both in overall very good condition with expected wear for age. A couple of small glaze flakes to the inside rim on both jars.
