Sevres style ormolu mounted oval porcelain centerpiece bowl, blue ground with floral reserve decoration to interior and scene of courting couple to exterior, with gilt highlights, mounted onto a gilt bronze pedestal stand with scrolling foliate arms and beaded rim. 14 1/8" H x 21 3/4" W x 12 1/4" D. Bowl measures: approx. 5 1/2" H x 16 1/2" W. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of David Caldwell, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall good condition, light wear to gilt and enameled decoration. Old glue residue present to rim of bowl, some slight areas of separation of gilt mount on rim from bowl.
