Alberto Fabbi (Italy, 1858-1906) watercolor painting and pencil drawing on paper depicting an orientalist genre scene, featuring two women attired in ornate garments lounging around a board game, in a room decorated with colorful textiles and Middle Eastern architectural details. Signed "Fabbi" lower right. Housed in a giltwood frame with acanthus leaf decoration. Sight: 16" H x 9 3/4" W. Framed: 25 1/4" H x 18 3/4" W.
PROVENANCE: Private West Tennessee Collection.
CONDITION: Painting- Tide line to lower edge, light fading/toning. Frame with natural wood separations, some loss, and restoration to gilt decoration.
