Item 1: Paul Conner (Indiana/California/American, 1881-1968) watercolor on paper seascape, depicting waves crashing on a rocky beach against a blue horizon, signed lower left. Traces of pencil lines are visible under the color. Conner was a member of the Long Beach, California, art associations. Gilt wood frame with cream double mats. Sight: 13 in. L x 9 in. W. Frame: 21 1/2 in. L x 17 1/4 in H. Mid-20th century. Item 2: George Frank Dixon (New York/American, 1864-1940) watercolor of a wildfire in a mountain tree line, with billowing clouds of smoke in the sky, signed lower right. Dixon was born in England and immigrated to the US in 1886. He primarily painted landscapes of the Adirondacks and Mohawk Valley, and was a member of the American and New York Water Color Clubs. Wood frame with tan mat, heavily oxidized paper backing en verso, with remnants of Jones & Curley Inc. NY gallery sticker. Sight: 10 1/2 in. L x 8 in. H. Framed: 18 in. L x 16 in. W. First quarter 20th century. 3rd item – Thomas Henry Hunn (British, 1857-1928) watercolor depicting a verdant tree scene at water’s edge and signed lower right, with additional name, date, title “In Bedding Park” en verso, likely referring to Beddington Park, now part of South London. The original frame backing with handwritten notes has been taped to the new mat, under paper. Gilt wood frame with beige and cream double mats. Sight: 7 in. H x 6 in. W. Framed: 18 1/4 in. H. x 15 1/4 in. W. 1923.
CONDITION: All in overall good condition. None have been examined out of frame.
