Southern cherry sugar box, poplar secondary. Comprised of a hinged lid with dovetailed case and one lower drawer. Lid opens to reveal a divided interior. Box and drawer with brass escutcheons and drawer with brass pull. 9 1/2" H x 18 1/8" W x 12" D. Probably Kentucky or Tennessee, 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Donley and Eunice Hill, Andersonville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with general use wear. Top with minor stains and surface scratching.
