Robert Kiskadden (Kansas/Oklahoma, 1918-2004) oil on board American Great Plains landscape depicting men working at an oil well, with a truck parked nearby at the end of a dirt road. Signed "Kiskadden" lower right. Housed in an unstained wood frame with dentil carved edges and gray painted rabbet edge. 16" x 18" sight, 24" x 26" framed. Biography: Robert Kiskadden graduated from the University of Kansas, Lawrence and also attended Ohio Wesleyan in 1945. He taught at Wichita University. Ref.
