Signed and numbered 30/85 in pencil, lower margin. Published by Nahan Galleries, with their blindstamp to lower left. Unframed. 35 5/16 in. H x 23 3/4 in. W. 1981. 2nd Item: Theo Tobiasse (Israel/France, 1927-2012) color lithograph on Arches wove paper from the “Song of Songs of King Solomon” portfolio. A nude woman reclines before a tree-lined city, with fruit and a large plant at lower right. Signed and numbered 182/200 in pencil, lower margin. Unframed. 21 3/4 in. H x 29 3/4 in. W. 1975.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: 1st item with minor horizontal creases throughout plus marked horizontal crease that runs just below image and dog-ear crease to lower right corner. Old archival tape fragments affixed to verso along upper edge. 2nd item with marked toning to sight area from previous framing plus four minor tears along lower edge and one along upper edge, largest 1/2 inch. Adhesive stains to upper left and right edges and to lower edge at left and right. Both items have been rolled.
