Grouping of two (2) East Tennessee turned chairs. 1st item: Sullivan Co., TN child's rocker with three arched slats and turnip finials, shaped arms with scrolled rests, supporting front stiles with spindle turnings, shaped rockers. Rush seat. 20" H x 11 1/2" W x 20" D. Second quarter of the 19th century. 2nd item: Hawkins Co., TN side chair with three arched slats and ring turned finials terminating in balls, turnip style feet. Split oak seat. Second quarter of the 19th century. 38" H x 19" W x 15 1/4" D. Condition: Overall very good condition for both chairs with older refinish. Child's rocker with a replaced seat.
