Nashville, Tennessee retailed coin silver soup or punch ladle with fiddle tipt handle and oval bowl, incuse mark on back G.W. Donegan (George Washington Donigan, working Nashville, 1850-1864). Note: the misspelling of Donigan's name suggests it was retailed in Nashville but made elsewhere. Period script monogram ESF. 5.94 oz troy, 12-3/4"L. Circa 1860. Provenance: the collection of John Montague, Memphis, Tenn. Condition: Very good condition with a few small, very light dents to bowl.
