East Tennessee redware sugar jar, straight sides with quadruple sign waves and three bands of incised lines around body having steeply domed top with large mushroom finial. Made by the Mort pottery family of Jefferson County, TN. Condition- Overall very good condition, slight flake to rim. 6 1/8" Total H. 19th century.
