Three (3) Southwest, Virginia, Washington County stoneware pottery pieces including one (1) large jar with dark grey glaze, one (1) smaller jar with a light brown glaze and incised initials "M.J.M.", and one (1) cream pitcher with light brown glaze. Ranging in size from 5 1/4" H to 9" H. Late 19th century. Provenance: Brad Swanson Collection, Abingdon, VA. CONDITION: Large jar with a chip to the rim and scattered fleabites to the base edge. Smaller jar with chips to the rim. Pitcher with scattered firing flaws, overall good condition.
