Twenty-five (25) assorted sterling silver items, including tea strainers and napkin rings. 1st-9th items: Nine (9) tea strainers or infusers, including one (1) Gorham repousse ball form; one (1) Webster teapot form; one (1) Spritzer & Fuhrmann teapot form; one (1) Simons Brothers melon form on a Samuel Vernon chain with ring marked "Mexico"; one (1) bucket form with chased thistle design, monogrammed LWG; one (1) repousse strainer with floral design and two handles, monogrammed E and stamped with unidentified hallmark; one (1) hexagonal strainer with shell finial and wooden handle; and two (2) Simons Brothers strainer spoons, both monogrammed "Cherrycote" and LWG. 10th-18th items: Nine (9) napkin rings, including two (2) Gorham, monogrammed RST and JSM; two (2) English, William Vale & Sons, stamped with hallmark for Chester and date mark 1912; one (1) Wood & Hughes with chased anthemion and bead and reel edges, monogrammed "Lisette"; two (2) with chased foliate design; one (1) with chased rosettes and bead reel edges; and one (1) with bead reel edges and central cartouche, monogrammed LM. 19th-22nd items: Four (4) Lunt Modern Victorian pattern shell mint or nut dishes. 23rd-24th items: Two (2) miniature funnels, including one (1) Randahl Shop and one (1) with scalloped edge. 25th item: Barrel form salt cellar and pepper shaker holder with salt spoon and glass insert. All items marked or tested Sterling. All items ranging in size from 1 1/4" H x 7/8" W x 5/8" D to 1 1/2" H x 5 5/8" W x 3 1/8" D. All items late 19th/early 20th century. 16.310 total weighable troy ounces.
PROVENANCE: The Collection of Michael and Peggy Mahoney, by descent from the historic homes of Clarkland Farm at Bryan's Station and Cherrycote, Lexington, Kentucky.
CONDITION: All items in overall good condition with scattered minor denting and minute surface scratching. Some pieces monogrammed. Barrel form salt and pepper holder with scattered surface pitting to interior.
