1st and 2nd items: Two Middle Eastern hand-painted watercolor scenes, one depicting a courting couple and the other depicting two women, on oval wafers mounted to silk mats and framed in 8 3/8 in. H x 7 3/16 in. W giltwood frames. Oval wafers: 4 in. H x 2 3/4 in. W. 20th century. 3rd item: Middle Eastern or Southeast Asian arched wooden box, veneered with incised-decorated bone and engraved silver metal overlay. Hinged cover and loop handles. 9 1/4 in. H x 7 1/2 in. W x 1 1/2 in. D. 19th century. 4th item: Egyptian silver repousse hand mirror, circular form with scalloped sides and bird finial, hallmarked to side. 6 1/4 in. Diameter. Late 19th to early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Chattanooga area collection.
CONDITION: 1st and 2nd items: Excellent condition. 3rd item: some loss of silvering under glass. 4th item: age cracks and discoloration to bone, oxidation and wear to metal.
