American coin silver cream jug and silver bowl, each with band of repousse floral decoration above a lobed round body and double C scroll handles, raised on a stepped circular foot with floral banding; the sugar bowl with repousse decoration to cover and a floral finial. Both marked F. MARQUAND in rectangles for Frederick Marquand, working New York, NY c. 1815 and Savannah, GA 1820-1828, along with multiple pseudohallmarks. Sugar bowl 9" H including lid; creamer 7 1/4" H. Combined weight: 41.38 oz troy.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Judge John Nixon, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall good condition. Some small dents to widest portion of sugar bowl and to interior rim of sugar bowl, some minor possible denting at top of foot on creamer. No monograms.
