Penny; one dated '88 for 1888. Housed in matching giltwood frames with carved corner ornaments. One painting has a label en verso for Aiken Dott & Son Carvers & Gilders, Edinburgh. Plexiglass covers en verso. Panels – 6 1/4" H x 9 1/2" W. Frames – 8" H x 11" W. CONDITION: Painting dated 88 has a tiny flake in sky area, 1/8", and a couple of small scratches at lower edge. Both paintings have light grime and yellowing to varnish layer. Some light wear and small losses to frames; overall good condition.
