Virginia coin silver cup or mug, incuse stamp C.F. Greenwood and Brother for Charles F. and Frederick Greenwood, in partnership c. 1851 in Norfolk, with additional marks JC AGT. Pear shaped body with flared rim, c scroll handle and acanthus banding at foot; engraved and engine turned decoration including anthemion and central cartouche (no monograms). 4"H including handle. 4.31 oz troy.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Judge John Nixon, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with minimal tiny dents or scratching.
