Thirty (30) assorted American and English sterling silver table items. 1st-10th items: Five (5) sets of salt and pepper shakers, 10 items total, including one (1) English set, hallmarked for Henry Matthews, Birmingham, 1907; one (1) Gorham set; one (1) Towle set, monogrammed "MBD"; and two (2) Mueck-Carey Company sets. Maker's marks, Sterling, and numerals or letters stamped to underside of bases of American shakers. Ranging in size from 3 1/8" H x 1 1/4" W to 5" H x 2" W. 11th-30th items: Twenty (20) butter plates or ashtrays, including eight (8) Stieff; six (6) Alvin, monogrammed with script "FLH"; and six (6) Mauser. Maker's marks, Sterling, and numerals or letters stamped to underside of bases. Ranging from 2 3/4" W to 4 1/8" W. Combined weight: 33.815 total troy ounces.
PROVENANCE: The Collection of Dr. Joe Newsom Rawlings, Davisboro, Georgia.
CONDITION: All items in overall good condition with normal surface wear, scattered dents. Tarnishing to lid of one Gorham shaker. Items not monogrammed unless specified in description.
