Six Tennessee coin silver fiddle back spoons including 2 dessert spoons (6 3/4" L), 3 teaspoons (6 1/8" L) and 1 coffee spoon ( 5 1/8" L), all with marks for Knoxville silversmith Samuel Bell (1797-1881). All monogrammed. 3.64 total troy ounces. Note: Bell was active in Knoxville from 1819-1852, where he served two terms as mayor from 1840-42 and 1844-46. In 1852, Bell moved to San Antonio, Texas and continued his vocation as a silversmith. Provenance: Blount County, TN Living Estate. Condition: All spoons monogrammed with general wear, especially to smallest spoon.
