Biography: Al Pounders received his BFA from University of Buffalo, Buffalo, NY in 1956 and his MFA from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY IN 1959. He was Professor Emeritus of Painting, Purdue University West Lafayette, IN. His work has been included in numerous exhibitions including "Umbria from the Eye of Al Pounders" solo exhibition at the Swope Art Museum in Terre Haute, IN in 2008 and "Al Pounders: Recent Work" solo exhibition at the Allan Stone Gallery, New York, NY in 2007.
