Pastel on paper drawing, laid down to a cardstock backing, of a woman in a short, black dress or robe seated informally in an upholstered chair. Monogrammed SH below hip. Housed under glass in a carved giltwood frame with a gold textile mat and gilt reveal. Sight: 22 3/4 in H x 17 1/2 in. W. Framed: 31 1/2 in. H x 26 1/2 in. W. 20th century.

Overall very good condition, with even toning to sheet. Textile mat with fading, especially upper right, plus irregularity to threads.
