1st item: Silver plated revolving liquor or cocktail stand with crystal decanters. Four leaf clover shape frame with Greek key banding and miniature urn at center, which conceals a screw connecting the frame to the circular base (which allows the frame to rotate). The frame is topped with a loop handle and wirework basket which holds a cut glass bowl. Four glass decanters with diamond cut bands and stoppers and petal form lips. Stand, overall: 14 1/2 in. H. x 8 1/2 in. W x 8 1/2 in. D. Attributed to Sheffield, England, early to mid 19th century. Also included with this set are four later sterling silver liquor tags (Whiskey, Scotch, Bourbon, Vodka), with hallmarks attributed to W.I. Broadway & Co., Birmingham. 1980s. 2nd and 3rd items: Pair of two (2) small Gorham sterling silver bowls with repousse floral rims, 5 1/2 in. diameter. 4th item: Small sterling footed condiment bowl with gadroon rim and lion caryatid feet, H mark possibly attributed to Howard Sterling Co., 2 1/2 in. H x 4 3/4 in diameter. The three sterling bowls are all American, mid 20th century. Combined weighable sterling: 13.82 oz troy.
PROVENANCE: The estate of Eleanor Jacobs, Nashville, TN.
CONDITION: Revolving liquor stand and bottles: Some small chips to rim of center bowl. Stoppers are similar but do not match exactly; at least two may be early replacements. Occasional scattered flakes to decanters. Frame appears to be replated. The sterling bowls and liquor tags are in excellent condition.
