8 Civil War and Post War items, including bonds. 1st-4th items: Four (4) Confederate States of America bonds including two (2) $500 at 8 percent interest (Nos. 24000 & 24004) with four coupons still attached, one (1) Confederate States of America bond $100 at 6 percent interest (No. 7752) will all coupons remaining except one and one (1) Confederate States of America bond $1000 at 7 percent interest (No. 11881) with four coupons remaining. 5th item: 1910 State of Mississippi Application for Indigent Widow of Soldier or Sailor of the Late Confederacy. Completed by Mrs. A. L. Brown (Amanda Lenora Brown) March 7, 1910. She was the widow of James W. Brown (1818-1882) who served with Company A, 1st Regiment Mississippi. 5th-8th items: Three (3) sheets of eight (8) $1 The Ridge Valley Iron Company, Rome, Georgia store coupons, 24 total, dated Oct. 1, 1873. CONDITION: 1st-4th items: Overall good condition with areas of toning, foxing spots, and minute losses to be expected from age. 5th item: Overall good condition. Two minute toning spots, top and bottom right of sheet. 7/8″ tear, along lower horizontal crease line. 5th-8th items: Overall toning to sheets. Areas of dampstaining, toning spots, edges of sheets. Vertical crease lines, approximately center of sheets. Areas of loss, largest 4 1/2″ H x 2 1/4″, edges of sheets.
