Grouping of two (2) pieces of Chinese Rose Medallion porcelain, including one (1) bottle form vase and one (1) lozenge-shaped footed dish. Each having polychrome enamel decoration throughout, including alternating vignettes with figural court and courtyard scenes and vignettes with floral, bird, and pomegranate decorations, all against a foliate background with gilt highlights throughout. Bottle vase: 13 1/2" H x 8" dia. Dish: 3 1/4" H x 14 1/4" W x 10 3/4" D. Both items 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Property from the Collection of Jo Ann Cline Yates, Lookout Mountain Tennessee.
CONDITION: Bottle vase with a few slight losses to glaze in vignettes, some with associated retouching. Very slight crazing throughout. 2nd item: In very good condition with slight wear to polychrome enamel decoration and gilt highlights, minor flake to edge.
