East Tennessee, Hawkins Co., blue painted pie safe, poplar and yellow pine. Two dovetailed drawers with wooden pulls, punched tin lower doors and sides. Each of the eight (8) tins with a column and arch design. Interior with two shelves, inset double paneled back and turned legs. 45" H x 43 3/4" W x 17 1/2" D. 3rd qtr. 19th century. CONDITION: Expected wear to paint, minor abrasions and bruises commensurate with age.
