1st item: Kentucky 5-gallon stoneware pottery storage jar, marked, salt glazed with lug handles, faintly stamped "John Bauer & Bro. /Preston St./ Lousiville, KY" and impressed "5" denoting capacity. 17 1/4" H. Late 19th century. 2nd item: Mid-Atlantic lidded storage jar with cobalt floral sprig decoration below the rim. 10 1/2" H. Late 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Collection of Richard H. and Kathleen L. Hulan.
CONDITION: 1st item: Some chipping to inner rim, staining to body. 2nd item: Overall very good condition.
