Item 1: Marc Chagall (French/Russian, 1887-1985) lithograph titled "Tamar, Daughter-in-Law of Judah," and depicting the two titular figures, from Drawings for the Bible, 1960, part of the unsigned edition of 6500 printed by Mourlot, Paris, and published by Harcourt, Brace and Company, New York. Floated under glass in a wood frame with a black mount, textile mat, and orange reveal. Sheet: 14' H x 12 1/4" W. Framed: 21" H x 17 1/2" W. Item 2: Bernard Buffet (France, 1928-1999) editioned lithograph depicting a tabletop still life with lamp and backgammon set, 1955. Signed and dated in the plate, lower left, and numbered 21/375 in pencil lower left margin. housed under plexiglass in an ebonized wooden frame with cream mat and black reveal. Sight: 14 1/2" H x 11" W.
CONDITION: 1st item with minor crease to upper left corner, 3 1/2 L. Frame with scattered abrasions. 2nd item in overall excellent conditon. Not examined outside of frames.
